Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers
concerning the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in the Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia. Thank You for comforting those
impacted and for helping them to recover. Holy Spirit, thank You for pouring out Your spirit of love, compassion, benevolence and
generosity. Thank You for supplying all the needs for those impacted according to Your glorious riches, which have been
given to us in Jesus. Lord, You are great, and Your poweris absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. Lord,Most High, You are awesome. You are the King of all the earth. Father, we declare that the citizens of the Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia will rebuild the ruins and restore theplaces that were devastated by Hurricane Helene. We expect
Your favor to surround them like a shield. We declare renewal in the ruined areas. We call forth the blessings of God to rest upon
their communities. Lord, we command justice to run down likewater and righteousness like a mighty stream within governmental agencies and insurance companies that are responsible for helping the residents to recover. We command the necessary
funds for rebuilding to come forth. We declare that the hope and trust of each citizen are in You, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.Today, we stand in the gap and pray for the Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia. We pray for their leaders in business and commerce, energy, healthcare, education and the religiouscommunity. We declare God’s blessings, protection and provision over the thousands of residents of Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia who are without shelter, stranded by flooding and are likely to suffer shortages of food, water and medicine.God, our Healer, please heal each person emotionally and psychologically. Holy Spirit, calm the fears of citizen, children and the elderly. Comfort those who have
experienced the death of their loved ones and total loss of their homes and businesses. Let Your love and presence saturatetheir hearts, souls and spirits. Touch the hearts of people throughout the world to give generously. Holy Spirit, lead and guide all local officials to rebuild the infrastructure with supernatural efficiency. Continue to send people who will love, support, andcomfort the residents during their time of recovery. God, ourHealer, please provide healing and speedy recovery to citizens. Father, forgive the citizens for all acts of sinfulness.Forgive those governmental leaders for not looking after theircitizens and for oppressing the poor and disadvantaged. Forgive those of us who are insensitive to the needs of those severely
impacted by Hurricane Helene. Lord, Holy Spirit, remind the citizens of the
Florida, Alabama, Tennesee, Kentucky, Georgia of those they need to forgive
and help them to forgive. Holy Spirit, help the citizens not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evilone.Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. You
created all things, and they exist because You created what You pleased. In Jesus’ Name.Father, thank You for giving favor, grace, and mercy to government professionals. Thank You for opening doors of abundance so that they can prosper and have wealth to share.Thank You for being faithful to them even during times when
their faith is weak. You are the Most High God, the only true and living God. You are excellent in all of Your ways. The heavens are
Your throne, and the earth is Your footstool. Lord, You are good,and Your faithful love endures forever. You are the great | Am,
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. You are our Creator and Savior.Father, it is Your will that government professionals live rich and satisfying lives. We confess that they will live by believing, not by seeing and as they commit everything, they do to You and trust You, You will help them. No good thing will be withheld from government professionals who do what is right. For You bless the Godly and surround them with Your shield oflove. By faith, we declare government professionals will never let loyalty and kindness leave them; they will tie them around their necks and write them deep within their hearts. Then, they will
find favor with You and people, and they will earn a good reputation. They will honor You with their wealth and with the best part of everything they produce.Holy Spirit, please show government professionals Your ways,teach them Your paths and lead them in Your truth. Bless them to craft, support, and implement legislation and projects, produce effective outcomes and improve the lives of citizens, in ways that honor You. Give them peace to sustain and strength to overcomethe inevitable internal and external challenges that the governmental process and public service bring. Keep them from working halfheartedly, taking advantage of their positions andworshipping worldly power instead of You. Help them to make good decisions that benefit their constituents and stakeholders.Remind them that their ability to succeed comes from You and that favor is a gift, not an entitlement. Reveal to them ways to work smartly and bring balance to their professional and personal Father, forgive government professionals for all acts
of sinfulness, including greed, envy, outbursts of anger, pride,arrogance, bitterness, lying, stealing, criticism, gossiping and
stubbornness. Forgive them for putting their careers first andYou second. Forgive them for taking credit for the skills and
opportunities You give them and for not sharing their wealth and expertise with others. Lord, Holy Spirit, help government professionals not to yield totemptation and deliver them from the evil one.Lord God Almighty, You are holy and righteous. You are great and deserving of praise. We love You and will bless Your nameforever. Yours is the Kingdom, glory, and the power forever. In Jesus’ name.Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. You created all things, and they exist because You created what Youpleased. In Jesus’ name Father, we pray your strength, help and restorative power on members of our National Guard, Coast Guard, FEMA, firefighters, policemen, utility workers, road crews, municipal workers and aid workers and their families as they go about the task of restoring our communities following Helene. May they do their work in safety and determination. Provide them with the tools and supplies they need. Thank you for the protection, leadership they provide in times ofemergency. May their efforts be successful in bringing stability and livability after destruction and chaos. And when their tasks are completed, grant them rest, knowledge of our deep gratitude and
a sense of accomplishment at a job well done
We praise Your Name, Father, forever and ever. You have all wisdom and power. You control the course of world events,
removing and setting up other kings. You give wisdom to thewise and knowledge to the scholars. You reveal deep and
mysterious things, and only You know what lies hidden in darkness, though You are surrounded by light. Father, we thank You for our political leaders. Thank You for blessings. Thank Youfor allowing us to call upon You in our times of need after Helene. Thank You, Lord, for Your bountiful blessings. We are
grateful, and we bless Your Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill our leaders spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, and knowledge. Grant them favor, increase their faith, and prepare to pursueYour excellence. Draw our leaders to You and cause them to
know and fulfill Your purposes. Please place people in their paths who will provide scriptural, sound and godly counsel to
help them; for without Your counsel, their plans will go awry. Impart Your revelation to them about leadership and help them to lead. Deal with our leaders about keeping their
hearts and motives pure. We ask You to make their hearts pliable, willing and obedient to Your will. Cause each of theirlives to glorify Your Name. Father, we ask You to raise up modern-day Davids, Solomons, Josephs, Nehemiahs, Deborahs, Ruths and Esthers who will joyfully and purposefully work in the political sector to help rebuild and
restore areas affected by Helene.Holy, Holy, Holy, are You, the Lord God Almighty who
is and is to come. You alone are God. Yo
none, yet all are subject to You. Yours is

We thank you that call us to live together under of the rule of law and under the leadership of governments of every kind. We look to your word in the Bible that tells us “that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone — for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God
our Savior.We are grateful for this strong word of guidance from a writer in an age when rulers could be good or bad and when the people had little or no say about who ruled or how they ruled. Give us the grace to pray for the good and the bad leaders alike,
those we agree with and those we disagree with, as your Spirit empowers and leads us.
We stand on your promise that you can guide all those inleadership positions as it says in your Word, “The king’s heart isin the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse whereverhe pleases. All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the Lordweighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable
to the Lord than sacrifice. Father we pray for our government leaders that they will
have guidable hearts. Help them to have a true sense of service. Fill them with a healthy realization that although they may exercise earthly power, You are ultimately in control of all destiny including theirs.Fill them with a desire to obey the law of love which transcends all man-made laws. Grant them a desire to serve justice rather than convenience or personal political advantage.
Surround our government leaders with good advisors. We pray the grace of Proverbs 19:20 for them, “Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.” We pray that you will add to their wisdom the gift of patience as it says in
A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is his
glory to overlook an offense.”We pray these men and women will be: “A (person) of
knowledge uses words with restraint, and a (person) of understanding is even-tempered.” Help our leaders to be quick to pray, quick to deliberate and quick to seek advice. Help them to be slow to speak or act on impulse, out ofanger, pride, greed or desires to strengthen their own power and control.
We pray that our government leaders will establish domestic peace and prevent evil doers from prospering as it says in your
Word, A wise king winnows out the wicked.” Kings detest wrongdoing, for a throne is established through righteousness.” Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.Guide our leaders in defending our communities from threats of lawlessness within our borders and from outside of our borders.Give our government leaders a deep and abiding faith in you. We claim these promises for them today, “Love andfaithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure.When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his
enemies live at peace with him. Give our
leaders a strong, trusting relationship with Jesus that our leaders might in turn be truly good shepherdsof their flock You have entrusted to them. We pray in the name of Christ the Everlasting King.
