Father, Congress come into agreement concerning budget meeting today. Thank You that it will be productive. Help Congress to stay on track and keep focused on the agenda. Bring to their minds solutions to the problems that they are facing. Help Congress present to be able to make a contribution of value and worth to the process of budget meeting.Thank You for the liberty to discuss openly and freely without strife or anger. Help Congressto speak their minds without fear of ridicule or sarcasm. Thank You that Congress have understanding hearts toward one another and toward any items that they discuss today.Help Congress to consider all the facts and come to a definitive plan of action concerning the direction that they need to take. Help Congressnot to overanalyze or to be hasty and move too quickly, but rather to respond effectively and efficiently to any problem that needs their attention. Help Congressto operate and flow together as a team.

Father, in the name of Jesus, may Your wisdom prevail today in their meeting. Help Congressto be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that You desire.
Lord, I recognize Your Holy Spirit and welcome Him to the meeting, acknowledging their dependence upon His presence and guidance. With His help, help Congress purpose to respect and regard others’ opinions as valuable and worthy of consideration.Knowing that a soft answer turns away wrath, help Congress be polite and courteous in all their deliberations.Help Congress to offer opinions at the appropriate times and to resist any feelings of self-pity or self-aggrandizement. Guard Congress from thinking that their opinions are not being heard. I pray for those who have to deal with rejection. Help Congress to know that any negation of their opinions or suggestions are not personal.
Should their own opinions be rejected, help them refuse to believe that they, personally, are rejected. Help Congress will remember that their opinions are not them.Father, Your love in Congress does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking. Help Congress submit to the wisdom that comes from heaven, for it is pure, peace-loving, considerate, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. As a peacemaker, help Congress sow in peace, reaping a harvest of righteousness..Thank You, Father, for wisdom that is from above. In Jesus’ name I pray.Father, in the name of Jesus, we approach the throne of grace boldly and confidently. May the truth come forth accurately and in love during the budget meeting. We ask You to meet the need of Congress spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially.
We thank You, Father, and praise You that, because we have asked and agreed together, these petitions have come to pass. Let these words with which we have made supplication before the Lord be near to the Lord their God day and night, that He may
maintain the cause and right of His Congress in the budget meeting as each day of it requires! We believe that Congress will know that the Lord is God and there is no other! Hallelujah! Father, we thank You for budget meeting. We believe that Congress have accomplished what they set out to do. Now we thank You that Congress take away from budget meeting the facts and data they need to act decisively and to perform to the best of their ability any assignments that have been made.

Help the Congress, Father, to hear Your voice, and so to make the right and correct decisions in these cases.
