.Father In Mark 4:35-39, Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with His head on a cushion. Fearful, His discipleswoke Him because of the raging storm in the Sea of Galilee. Jesus awoke, rebuked the storm and the stormceased. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before theyspring forth I tell you of them.
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the
prophets. Father, thank You for the favor and mercy You have shown the Southeastern USA over the years.Thank You for blessing Tampa Bay with abundance, peace, and security. You are a great and merciful Father. We know Your greatness Lord, that
You are greater than any other god. You do whatever pleases You throughout all heaven and earth, on the seasand in the depths. You cause the clouds to rise over the whole earth. You send the lightning with the rain and
release the wind from your storehouses. Lord, Your Name endures forever, Your fame is known to every.generation. Father, during this hurricane season, we will continue to operate in the authority and power given to us
by the Lord Jesus Christ and we command peace to be still in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. We.know that faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it’s the assurance about things we
cannot see. By faith, we confess that the sea surface temperature in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico will not rise above 80 degrees. We decree that the wind shear in the Atlantic will cut any storms off in
the development stage and hinder vertical rings of clouds from forming. We confess that the barometric pressure and air density will not drop to a level that would allow violent storm and hurricane disturbances. We declare
calm weather for the Southeastern USA and the Gulf Coast region during hurricane season. We will receivethe right amount of rain to keep the ground moist and the vegetation well-watered, but not too much to cause flooding. By faith, we declare that our weather will be a perfect balance of sunshine, rain and moderate
temperatures.Holy Spirit, help each believer to walk in boldness and authority and expect the weather to be calm as we decree
Your Word over the weather situation. Lord Jesus, You said we could ask anything in Your Name, so we ask You to touch the hearts of believers throughout Southeastern USAto decree Your Word concerning the weather. HolySpirit, please help the residents in the Southeastern USA and surrounding areas who are still trying to recover.Remind us all to be good stewards over our water resources. Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Majestic Lord, You are the blessed and only Sovereign One. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, who rides across the ancient heavens. O God, You are awesome in Your sanctuary. You are the God of Israel who
gives strength and power to Your people. Blessed are You, forever. In Jesus’ Name.
Psalm 93:3-5 The seas have lifted up, Lord,
the seas have lifted up their voice;
the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house
for endless days.We pray forthose facing storms such as hurricanes, tornadoes and floods.Father, we come to you today praying your helpand protection for those who in the path of a storm. As the storm approaches, we pray that you will give those in its
path the information they need to prepare themselves and theirfamilies. Give them the gifts of wisdom and discernment to
know what they need to do to protect themselves and theirfamilies. Help them lay aside all thoughts about things that can
be easily be replaced and instead help them focus on preservingthose things which cannot be replaced — their safety, their lives,
their well being and their health. For those upon whom a storm comes with little warning, we prayyour split second guidance and timing so that their actions mightbe effective and protective. Guide them with your light to a placeof shelter and refuge and send your angels to hover over them until the storm passesFor those who need to evacuate an area where a storm might hit,we pray safe passage, patience and endurance. Please providethe things they need for the journey. Give them a dependablemeans of transportation toward safety, a departure route free ofobstacles and delays, and a destination that will provide them a
place of shelter, care and nourishment while they wait out the storm. Send your heavenly angels and your angels in human
form such as police officers, fire fighters, guardsman, relief workers, transportation workers, weather forecasters, news
reporters, neighbors, church congregations and public officials who can aid them as they seek and find a place of safety.
We pray for emotional strength for those in the path of the storm. Help them with the stress of assembling emergency
supplies, deciding how to protect their property and where to seek shelter. Give them wisdom as they care for frightened
children, pets, the elderly and those with medical needs. Give them supernatural power over fear at the prospects of disruption
to life, loss and destruction. Help them know that you are with them, that you care and that you will never leave them or forsake
them. Remind them of how Jesus slept in a boat during a storm on the Sea of Galilee because He trusted in you. And comfort
them with remembering that when Jesus saw the great fear of his disciples because of the terrible storm, Jesus got up and
said to the winds and the waves, “Peace be still,” and the wind and the waves obeyed him. We pray that the path of the storm will be limited in scope and power. We pray that its arrival will be optimally timed according
to the conditions of the area to be at a time most favorable for the least effects.
We claim the promises from the Bible for all othose in the path of the storm You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in hisdistress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am
your God. I will strengthen you and help you: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. We will not f ear, though the earth give way and the
mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roarand foam and the mountains quake with their surging.Thank you, God, for hearing our prayer for those in the path of the storm. Protect them, help them, comfort them now and forever
after
