Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus!
I am writing to you from Craiova, Romania, where God has entrusted us with a growing ministry. Looking back over this summer, we are filled with gratitude. The Lord gave us extraordinary opportunities: we hosted four short-term mission teams, held children’s day camps (VBS), organized evangelistic outreaches, fellowship events, a talent show that brought new youth into the church, concerts, and outings with teenagers. We also had the privilege of preaching the Gospel both publicly and personally, in Craiova and beyond.
In addition, we finished a sermon series from the book of Jonah, took three mission trips to Greece, and continued steady work with the Roma community. We rejoiced when Andrei was baptized in June — a living testimony of God’s transforming grace!
Yet, alongside all these blessings, we are facing a pressing need: more workers. God has opened many doors, but there are dozens of people who need discipleship, children who need long-term care and teaching, and families waiting to hear the Gospel through relationships built over time.
That is why I am reaching out to you today. I do not know you personally, but I know we share the same Lord, and I humbly ask you to join us in prayer.
Please pray that:
- The Lord would send workers to Craiova for the harvest He has prepared.
- Short-term teams would come to support evangelism and practical ministry.
- Long-term missionaries (for two years or more) would come, especially for ministry among children, youth, and families.
- A full-time worker would be raised up for children’s ministry.
- More people would commit to visiting, listening, encouraging, and discipling those who are beginning their walk with Christ.
The harvest is plentiful, and God is visibly at work. We are confident that He hears the prayers of His people.
Thank you for standing with us before the throne of grace. Your intercession means more than words can express.
In Christ’s service,
Raul Costea
