Pastor in Turkmenistan we call Big John, an elderly man who is the first pastor of the Turkmen people. He was arrested this past weekend. They don't know what the charge is yet or what is going on but we certainly need to pray. He is pretty old to be in a cold jail cell with inadequate food. He lives in the Dashagouz area that is known for persecuting believers. Please pray for his safety, for his family and that he is released soon. Also, pray that he will have a chance to share the gospel with his jailors."

Around 4 pm this afternoon, as I was engaged in prayerful study of a literary work on the subject, our Lord answered my prayers for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I am already becoming fluent in my new prayer language by the grace of the Lord Jesus our God! Praise Him!

A Thanksgiving rain turning thirst to thanks
There are many this Thanksgiving in desperate need for a move from God. I am ill and I have a sister in Christ who is recovering from knee surgery. There are countless others around the world who are struggling physically, financially, spiritually emotionally, etc. Brothers and sisters, let us pray now for grace and blessing to fall like rain from heaven upon all these thirsting souls around the world, so that they lift up their voices and hands in praise and thanks this Thanksgiving!

Some very sad news. Paul/Jake who has been posting on this prayer site and many other sites for many years now has passed away unexpectedly of a massive heart attack. He was a true prayer warrior, he prayed for so many online and at his prayer meetings. So many, including myself, depended on him for daily prayer. We prayed with him while his wife Marylou was dying if some of you remember. He posted prayer requests regarding spiritual warfare a lot, and also always prayed for God to protect and provide for his dog Teddy and the little kitten he fed outdoors. Now I am hearing Teddy needs to find a new home, so please pray God provides for Teddy now, and for the kitten. Please pray for all Paul/Jakes friends and family. We know he is with the LORD.
Needs met, lies & taunting stopped
I need peace, joy whiles my stepfather is laughing because he sent me away from my mother when they married when I was 13 & I was treated terribly. I lost everything I owned & have ended up with them again. Now he is laughing as he talks about how I need things to take care of my hair, clothes, shoes & medical help but he is giving money to other people. please pray for me, i am at the point of praying that God would let me die and take me home, I have been living in extreme poverty for several years, severely underweight, recurring mrsa, this sore I have now for six months gets worse everyday, have no health insurance no money for doctor or meds. I cannot maintain my house alone anymore, it is in very bad shape, sustained severe damage from flooding three weeks ago. Daugther abandoned me and went upstate to visit boyfriend right after food. Sisters only came to help when my house was in the zone A evac zone for hurricane irene, they helped me a little bit, but I got mentally and physically abused for every little thing they did and every dollar they gave me, and they didn't do much, I am back here now in a house that reaks a strong stench of mold, have at least two hundred very heavy bags of wet flood destroyed garbage in my basement and no way to get it out of my house and disposed of and no money to hire anyone. I need siding repairs and have many leaks every time it rains. I have no working plumbing in my kitchen and haven't for several years. I weigh 102 pounds and am five foot ten inches tall, from years of extreme poverty and no food. I am not eligible for aid because of money I inherited, although my older sister had the only legal acess as executor, and mishandled and drank and stole it, and she refuses to provide me with the paperwork I need from her to apply for anything. And now I have longtime so called "friends" posting on facebook things like glad to hear your home wasn't damaged by irene even though I have told them all about the serious flood 3 weeks ago.. I guess the flood 3 weeks ago doesn't matter if it wasn't on the news. I have been literally begging everyone I know for help, begging, family, friends, church and especially GOD and nobody cares. Please pray I die, I just want to DIE already.

God's Protection
getting ready to evacuate before the hurricane..sister coming to get me and the cats to go upstate to safety..I can only take what will fit in her small car..please pray God protects my home while I am away, protects the roof, protects from flooding and winds, no more damage to things like furnace and water heater, roof and siding. need God's mercy and real help
Please pray some real help comes to me soon. My area of southern shore of brooklyn expected to get direct hit from hurricane sunday, I live very close to the ocean. Less then 2 weeks ago my home was badly damaged by severe flooding, due to lack of finances and lack of family that still has not been properly cleaned up. Quake shook my house yesterday. One more dose of antibiotics left to take and no health insurance and staph sore still not healed. I have no one. No family and no friends around. I am alone and very scared. No money, losing Hope fast. Clinging to the Cross and begging God for mercy. I need to leave his house with my 3 cats, pray somebody somewhere gets a conscience and takes us in before then, and family gets a conscience to come help and offer funds and stops abandoning and blaming me for natural disasters like it is my fault, pray someone actually cares what happens to me. I just can't take being alone and terrified 24 hours a day anymore.
Under Attack
Please pray for GOD's mercy for me, Flooding in basement, water heater went out, ex paid for that, paycheck for july for part time job with animal rescue group has not come, ten dollars left and no food. Huge mess to clean up and now my dryer is not heating. Staph sore for five months, got antibiotic with help of friend, but after several days no signs of healing yet. I have no health insurance. Called rich sisters and begged for help and mercy and they would not help me. I am scared. Pray God forgives me for whatever terrible things I must have done to deserve these non stop attacks. Haven't heard from K since June, he is wealthy also but will not help, spends his money on drugs and bimbos from bars. Pray for his salvation and deliverance. Please just pray God has mercy and helps me. I am losing hope. Don't know what to do. Praying as hard as I can. Thank you for praying. For the Lord's protection from (new) neighbors who are acting out against me vindictively, attempting to cause conflict and un-peaceful issues. For the Lord's peace and protection to prevail against these attacks from evilness. This is the 7th family to rent next door (I own my home) so I'm praying that the Lord makes a way for them to want/have to move. I've lived here peaceably for 9 years until these 2 people moved in next door. I can't remember when I've faced people who are acting out vindictively like this? I feel an evilness surrounding this situation and it really bothers me on a spiritual level. Prevailing evilness...it's the oddest feeling and very disconcerting! They're in the 60's, so I can't believe how they are acting! Thank you!

Fear
I won a motorcycle...a Harley, in February. It is totally paid for and mine. I am not allowed to keep it where I live and so a friend has it at their garage....I have this horrible fear it will be stolen. It is the first asset I ever had that was worth something and I know Satan would love to steal my joy. Help me have peace.

Please pray for healing of large painful and disfiguring mrsa staph sore. It has been 3 months now and every time it seems to be getting better it gets much worse again. I have had recurrant staph infections for over 3 years now. I am getting very discouraged and feeling hopeless. No medical treatments home remedies have helped, doctors dont seem to know how to treat it, have no medical insurance and no money left, need miracles for health and finances, thank you and God Bless!

I really, really need God's "Hedge of Protection" to surround me and keep my home situation secure from new neighbors who moved in and have been causing trouble between myself & the M.H. Park Owners ever since they've moved in. The Park Owners are (for some reason) attacking me , my home & living security due to these people! I've lived here PEACABLY for 9 yrs. and have NEVER had a problem on my part with the Owners until these people moved in! My home & living security is hangs in a precarious balance now due to these people who are acting out eveily! I am PRAYING that these people will, somehow, need to move. (Not be kicked out, just a Life change that causes them to have to move!) This is the 7th family to rent next to me. I own my home. I need God's Protection & Vindication! It almost seems like these people are TRYING to get me evicted from the Park! Help Lord....Oh Holy Spirit!!!

Please pray for God to intervene, as my daughters youth group was 4 l/2 hrs. from home when the Church Bus broke down. Now they're having to send another bus to get them. My daughter is a 2nd kidney transplant patient, pray for her physical needs. Also I mailed a card to my daughter & son 2 Fridays ago. My son has got it yet, neither had my daughter when they left for their trip. Pray that they'll get it, as I had sent them money in it.

desperate suicidal Christian
My wife of over 35 years abandoned me over a year ago and has divorced me without cause and through lies obtained over 70% of the money. I have been disabled over 20 years. I am not eligible for S.S. disability because I didn't file at the time, since I would have received only $100/mo. since my work had been with non-profits before S.S. was required and it would have cost $20,000 to pursue the claim. I have enough money to live on for the immediate future but not enough to live on. I need to find a cheap house to buy to avoid the high rents here. It takes almost all my energy to cook and clean and do laundry for myself now. As the result of my situation I have terrible anxiety. In addition to my illness I have now become mentally ill and am plagued by suicidal thoughts. 1) To be delivered from the anxiety and suicidal thoughts 2) For a cheap house to buy to avoid high rent. 3) To be healed enough to at least be able to hold at least a part-time job after I move into the house.

I am a sophomore college student who currently attends the University of Maryland-Baltimore County who wants to transfer to another university. My school does not offer a journalism major, so I am planning to transfer. Please pray for me that I get transfer admission acceptance to the University of Maryland-College Park. I want to major in journalism. I applied to the University of Maryland-College Park either on March 01, 2011 or March 02, 2011. On April 22, 2011, the University of Maryland-College Park are postponing their decision because they want my final grades for the Spring 2011 semester. The grades are released and I am still scared. I have sent the grades to the University of Maryland-College Park on Wednesday, June 08, 2011. I am scared. I do not want the school to say "no" for a third time. I tried two times before in senior year of high school and in my first year of college. Those two attempts were unsuccessful. Please pray for me to get accepted to the University of Maryland-College Park for the Fall 2011 transfer admission. Thank you. Angels, Jesus Christ, Lord, and God, please help me on this.
