If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. - 1 Corinthians 12:26-27
As part of the body of Christ, we care about what you are going through. Praying with each other helps to lighten each others’ burdens. It helps us to develop trust in the body of Christ, and it forms a spiritual untiy that evokes the power of God. As Acts 4:31 says, “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together.”
In addition to praying with you, we want to provide encouragement, support, and accountability for you. James 5:16 says, “Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.”
Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
